Trust the beauty, health, safety, and comfort of your porcelain treatment to Owens Dental Berthoud. Here are five ways our biologic/holistic dentistry team supports the most natural-looking results for our patients from across northern Colorado and beyond.
As holistic dentistry practitioners, no detail is left unaccounted for when developing treatment plans. Your veneers are precisely customized to blend in beautifully with the rest of your smile and with your unique facial features. Veneers should not be noticeable. They should look like “normal” teeth and complement your skin tone and other personal characteristics.
State-of-the-art technologies also complement our considerable knowledge and artistry. These imaging systems minimize radiation exposure for the most biological treatment experience possible. They also render very clear and detailed images of your teeth, gums, and other parts of your mouth. We use these images to better understand your needs and to plan your veneers optimally.
Of course, we only use biocompatible materials. These materials are compatible with biological tissues. They do not cause irritation or present other health risks to neighboring teeth and tissues. Furthermore, quality ceramics like porcelain optimally mimic the properties of natural tooth enamel. They provide natural light reflectivity and translucence. Our materials are also very strong and durable. Your porcelain veneers are designed to last. Unlike natural tooth enamel, however, dental porcelain is highly resistant to stains. With good care, your veneers can continue to “wear well” and to function well for several years.
Holistic practitioners partner with many other professionals in the dental world and with medical professionals in different disciplines to support an integrative care approach. This approach provides continuity of care and promotes effective treatment and sustained health. We surround ourselves with only the most capable and skilled professionals. This notion applies to the lab that we use to make your veneers and other restorations. Once we send information collected via the technologies described above to the lab, we know your veneers will be in good hands. Our lab makes each restoration to your exact specifications and needs.
After your permanent veneers are ready, they are applied and secured to the front surfaces of gapped, unevenly spaced, chipped, deeply discolored, and otherwise “imperfect” teeth. We use premium, biocompatible bonding agents and techniques to assure the strongest fit. Veneers bonded securely to the teeth are incredibly strong. We want you to get the most out of this investment in your smile. By maintaining good oral care at home and visits to Owens Dental Berthoud for professional care, veneers are a terrific value and provide natural enhancement of your smile.
